What about Minorities in PAKISTAN?

As the 14th August has passed. Yesterday was PAKISTAN DAY. I do not want to talk about anything negative. But now, I want to share my thoughts about white part of our flag. We have to learn to respect that white part as we respect green part. This white segment in our flag represents our minorities. I was watching the interview on BBC given by a HINDU PAKISTANI girl yesterday, she was sharing her experience as Hindu in Pakistan. She said "Mostly when I am travelling in bus, women do not want to sit next to me in bus. When someone recognize them as Hindu their topics of discussion gets very limited. For example why you wear bindi ?  when you migrated from India? etc..." and the second thing is the most people try to forcefully convert them to MUSLIM. I was very disappointed by watching that interview as a PAKISTANI. Our Islam does not allow us to disrespect the other religion or to forcefully convert them to MUSLIM or to hurt the feelings of others. Even the ideology of PAKISTAN is not this.

We have to learn to respect them. They are also Pakistanis. This is the reason we are lagging behind the other countries because we do not allow diversity in our country. We always try to judge them. So when you go in some foreign country and someone call you a terrorist why you get angry (I know this terrorist thing is not right to say. I am just mentioning it as an example here). They are judging you as you are judging the others. 

Next, I want to talk about Christians. Most people who clean our gutters, clean our houses and clean our bathrooms are Christians in Pakistan. But why this is common notion that if someone is cleaning the gutter, he/she is Christian? Do you not clean your own bathrooms? We should asked ourselves about that. Are they only required by us as sweepers? Think about it. We judge them by their skin color. The one reason behind them being sweepers is that our government only gives them one or two seats or nothing  in every other jobs. Why we have to mention our religion and sect in out job application? These are the signs of poor nation. How we can say about the PAKISTANIS that they have big hearts. It is very sad to say that they don't. If they do, they do not get irritated or offended if some Christian maid  touch their cooking utensils. If they do, they accept every other minority with big smile on their faces. If they do, they do not interfere in other's religion.

We should welcome diversity in our country, as other developed countries allow. Pakistanis are going to America, UK and some other countries and doing their jobs there, some are studying there. They welcome you. They do not try to judge you on the basis of your religion. That's why they are developed. Why mostly people want to go to some foreign country and want to settle there. They want to do so because they want cool and calm environment. WHY not make our country like them and live here.

So try to respect them and see them as PAKISTANI not HINDU or CHRISTIANS. If you want to preach the teachings of ISLAM, do this as our beloved Hazrat Muhammad(ﷺ) has done.  Do not ever try to remove the white portion of our flag. Because without this white portion, our flag is not our flag.
